About the Artist:

Graham Gercken is an award-winning Australian landscape artist, known for his vibrant oil paintings of the Blue Mountains and other natural Australian scenes. Born in 1960 in Queensland, Gercken was inspired by the Heidelberg School and their impressionist techniques, particularly the wet-on-wet method.
A self-taught artist, he uses both brush and palette knife on oil-painted linen canvas. Over his 20-year career, Gercken has won numerous awards and held sell-out exhibitions at Prouds Art Gallery in Sydney. His work is represented in prestigious Australian galleries and corporate collections worldwide.
