About the Artist:

Born in 1952, Woody Woodworth grew up on the Southern coast on California where he developed a passion for surfing. Inspired by the early days of Surfer Magazine, he picked up a camera and published his first article in 1974.

This sparked nearly 50 years of photographing the surfing lifestyle, with 35 years spent traveling the world in search of waves. As a self-publisher, he sold hundreds of thousands of posters, prints, and apparel. His work has appeared in top surfing magazines and been featured in over 40 countries through international stock agencies.
