About the Artist:

Stephen Charles Shortridge, born in Iowa in 1951, is a Romantic Impressionist artist known for his vibrant brushstrokes and hand-enhanced giclees. Growing up in Southern California, he had  a successful acting career in the ’70s and ’80s, later shifting into painting. Inspired by the boldness of Impressionism and the emotional depth of Romanticism, his work invites viewers to connect with the beauty of life through color and light. Now based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Stephen continues to create art in his studio, embracing personal expression and the joy of painting.
