Some chairs are as interesting from behind as they are from the front. This vintage rattan lounge chair has a beautifully sculptural form, with a continuous curved barrel back, generously wrapped arms, and an hourglass-shaped woven pedestal base.

Natural golden-toned rattan gives the chair its organic warmth, while the softly patterned blue-and-white gingham upholstery adds an unexpected touch of vintage charm. The upholstered interior wraps around the seat, with a separate coordinating cushion nestled inside.

Its rounded profile works particularly well as a standalone accent chair, a bedroom reading seat, or a textural counterpoint to clean-lined modern furniture. Equally at home in coastal, cottage, bohemian, and eclectic interiors, it brings character without overwhelming the room.

Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with light visible wear to the woven frame. A few wicker ends near the lower rear base appear frayed or slightly lifted.
