With a background in both art history and chemistry, this San Diego-based artist brings a unique perspective to her photographic work. After a career as a scientist and science educator, she turned her lens toward the visual world, translating her analytical eye into impressionistic imagery. Her photography explores the beauty and complexity of nature, shaped by a lifelong curiosity and a deep appreciation for visual storytelling.

She primarily exhibits in the San Diego area, with solo shows at Emory University in Atlanta and Scripps Clinic. A committed member of the local arts community, she is the cofounder of critique groups for both painters and photographers and frequently lectures on art and photography at UC San Diego.
