Description
Painted in translucent layers of turquoise, cobalt, and gold, Messenger carries the unmistakable presence of Mirac Creepingbear’s later work—introspective, mythic, and still. The figure’s closed eyes and the eagle’s extended wings read less as narrative and more as symbol, set against a night sky of stardust flicks. It’s a piece that breathes slowly, rewarding stillness.

Signed by the artist, floated on deckled watercolor paper, and archivally framed in maple with a black velvet mat. Creepingbear’s work is held in the permanent collection of the National Museum of the American Indian. Originals rarely surface in open markets. This one comes from a private collection and remains in excellent condition.
