Description

This large Italian art glass vase has a wide, compressed body that curves inward toward a short flared neck. Closely spaced black and white stripes follow the vessel’s contours, narrowing toward the base and rim while emphasizing its sculptural shape.

Plum and burgundy tones appear beneath and between the darker lines, becoming especially visible through the opening and upper body. The combination of strong pattern, curved glass, and shifting transparency gives the vase a different expression from each viewing angle.

At 17 inches wide, it has enough scale to stand alone on a dining table, console, pedestal, or substantial shelf. Its bold graphic pattern works particularly well in contemporary, modern, and eclectic interiors.
