Description
Viewed from below, this chandelier reads as a vertical garden in motion.
Nine individually formed art-glass shades emerge from a winding metal framework of stems and leaves. Saturated cobalt, turquoise, amber, chartreuse, coral, yellow, and soft blush glass give every bloom its own character, while the asymmetrical arrangement creates depth and a different composition from every angle.
At 30 inches wide and 56 inches high before chain, this is a genuinely substantial fixture. It is especially well suited to a two-story entry, open stairwell, vaulted dining room, or living space that can carry its vertical scale.
The installed photograph shows the chandelier illuminated in its previous setting. It is currently displayed unlit at Design Consignment Gallery, where the showroom’s natural light reveals the color variation, texture, and hand-worked edges of the glass.
One shade bears a red script mark. The maker and country of origin have not been independently verified, so no formal artist or Murano attribution is being made. The chandelier was purchased through a specialty dealer, and the original receipt is available.
It was powered and illuminated at the time of purchase and has been carefully stored since. Professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
